Four Tunisian policemen were killed on Wednesday during clashes with suspected militants in the capital Tunis, the interior ministry announced.

They were killed when an Islamist militant detonated his explosive belt during a police raid on a house in the south of the country, the ministry said.
The house suspected to host the militants was damaged and according to the interior ministry, a militant was shot by the police during the raid.
